Choosing the Attitude of Life
Choosing the Attitude of Life, yes; this is important and everyone does it.
There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. Albert Einstein
Choosing the Attitude of Life
Today the cold weather is giving way to warmer weather and fog. Along the river, fog and a slight chill from the colder weather. Fall is here with winter angrily on the lookout for the best chance to enter our life. Summer, a distant memory; and life moves on.
As I took in the morning, neighbors next door had a row. In the stillness of the morning air, the sounds of anger and a fight brewing was heard. Yet as it went down no one looked out of their homes to find out the ruckus. All is well in the neighborhood. People, as long as your trouble or interests don’t interfere with their plans they are happy.
Choosing the Attitude of Life: philosophy
The some sixteen hundred headlines were gone through pretty quickly. Everyweek I take on hundreds and hundreds of issues, stories, headlines, and see a glimpse of an America that can sicken me, surprise me, inspire me, or make me downright glad I don’t live in them places. In all this I choose the information that makes up our radio shows and information I relate in articles on our sites. Many times, it is just to much! Yet we in this nation are all in the same boat. We can choose to hate, just because others do it. We can choose to be critical, gossip, and slander those we don’t care about. The alternative is to believe that in this day, there is hope. Not because we are dumb, stupid, or ignorant; but because we choose to be and to live a better life.
Choosing the Attitude of Life: opportunity
I decided along time ago that I would open that door to the next day, the next month, the next year, or even the next issue I am to face without fear. I decided that daily, in the Lord I would have faith. That as the Psalmist said in chapter 27, “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living”!
(13) I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
(14) Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
I believe resolutely that daily, no matter where I am, what I face, or what happens the Lord will make a way for me. For me, my family, and those connected to me and our ministry. No matter what! I know that this “goodness of the LORD” in my own little “Land of the Living” will find me. I can choose to be faithless or faithful. I can choose to affect changes or be affected by those changes that are evil and wayward.
Choosing the Attitude of Life: faith
That is where I am at, you as well. I have made a decision on life and how to live it. You make the same decision in your life daily. Not like mine maybe, but yet you decide.
In this land of living. In a certain living space, on a certain area, in a certain town, in a particular state, and abiding in some national entity. In short, I am American living in the west as I call it. California is not west as I call it. Wyoming is west, through and through. But here in this land of the Living we can see this goodness of the LORD overshadow us as we look to him by faith. This can reflect daily on how you operate. No! You are not perfect, but your are willing everyday to be full of faith, reject fear, and look at the possibilities of it all. In the midst of such a world in chaos, you can have peace, joy, and love.
Choosing the Attitude of Life: choices
So today, my friends; take time make your choice. It is up to you. If you succeed at anything this will be because you have made the decision to go after it and be successful. Take one day, one moment, and then move forward.
